Hello, my name is Ms. Mays and I am looking forward to working with you this upcoming 2010-2011 academic year. We have a great deal of engaging learning activities planned for you and your families.. I have created this website as a resource for you, to keep you informed of important dates, classroom activities, subject matter and policies and procedures to ensure that we have a wonderful school year!
Parents- Thank you for allowing me to work with your child this year. We have an open door policy in our classroom and truly believe that students are successful when teachers and parents come together as partners. We will have plenty of opportunities for you to take an active role in our classroom. You may want to read a book to the class, come in and speak about your profession, or simply volunteer working with a few extra students who require additional help. The choice is up to you. I look forward to getting to know you very soon!
